In June of 2020 some jackass in a whitecoat prescribed me Ciprofloxacin and my tendons all popped like a damn bowl or Orville Redenbacher. Two months completely crippled and a year of near disability later, I need shoes that can fit two different ankle braces and still have strong ankle support and a wide toe box for my deformed hobbit feet. I found these shoes two years ago and have worn them ever since. Only problem is, as with anything that works and is good, idiots in charge of those good things decide to stop making them. So After two years of buying the same damn shoe, I was in trouble. This is a big problem today because stores don't carry anything in -stock anymore so going to try on boots at a store means not finding anything to try on, ordering your 2E shoes online, finding they don't fit and having to return them back to the store. Long and the short of it is, New Balance is pants-shittingly stupid for stopping production on these magnificent foot fitters and Jimmy's Work N' Wear is a goddamn Godsend for having what may very well have been the last 11.5, 2E size of this discontinued shoe still in stock. Now my hobbling, crippled-ass can still get to work and move around for at least another year. After that, I don't know what the hell to do because this country has turned into a diarrhea pit and finding anything that works for someone crippled by pharma is impossible without months of effort driving to and from stores to return crap you ordered online that they didn't have in stock. Maybe I'll just buy something else from Jimmy's.
Long story short, shop at Jimmy's. you'll be grateful you did and if by chance you find a pair of these somewhere in the world in your size, buy them immediately and all others you can get your hands on.
